Services
The following services are offered in-person in Rio or online to anywhere in the world via HIPAA compliant platforms.

Free, 20-Minute Initial Consultation
Finding the therapist that's right for you is fundamental to the therapeutic process. This free consultation can give you a feel for who I am and how I work. You'll also be able to ask questions that'll help you make the best decision for you. You'll have zero obligations to work with me after the meeting.

Individual Counseling
These sessions offer personalized, one-on-one emotional support. I pull from a variety of techniques and approaches depending on client needs and goals, offering both short-term, solution-focused therapies or longer-term, deeper processing treatment options.

Couples Counseling
These sessions provide comprehensive and personalized counseling for romantic partnerships that offer immediate tools and tips to put to use while also addressing the underlying emotional cycles of the dynamic. My perspectives are LGBTQIA+ affirming, poly-affirming, and kink-aware.
My Approaches
I'm trained and experienced in both shorter-term, solution-focused techniques, as well as longer-term modalities. Keep reading to learn more.
Solution-Focused Therapies
Solution-focused therapies in mental health counseling are approaches that emphasize finding solutions to problems rather than delving deeply into the issues themselves. These therapies are generally short-term and goal-oriented, focusing on the client's present and future rather than their past. For this treatment, I pull mainly from Cgnitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills and techniques. I also emphasize the client’s current strengths and resources, as well as their previous successes.

Psychotherapy
The goal of psychotherapy is to help individuals understand and address the origins of their psychological concerns, helping them gain insight into the underlying causes of difficulties with their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Clients work through and process complex emotions and past experiences as a means of changing unhelpful or harmful behaviors and thought patterns. For this treatment, I pull mainly from Internal Family Systems IFS, emotion-focused (EFT), attachment and somatic-experiencing therapy techniques.
